Ono Tofu breaks to Akane Tendo the bad news that she can't have children, but explains to Ranma Saotome and Nabiki Tendo that surrogacy may be possible given there is nothing wrong with Akane's ovaries. Everyone but Ranma seems to almost immediately get who Akane thinks should be the surrogate mother.
