A Feather in the Wind is written by Ben Bradley and began online publication on May 2nd, 1998.[1] It currently stands incomplete at 13 chapters, the most recent of which was published on January 18th, 2002.[2]

Description[]

“ The wind blows in many different directions. For Ryouga Hibiki it has often brought him into lives of Ranma Saotome and Akane Tendo. This time though, it brings with it a change that will alter the lives of all three. The pain of a young girl without a past and who's life had been only exploitation because of the beautiful wings that grow from her back. As her life intertwines with those of Nerima, new adventures form, and along with new relationships and perhaps new loves...[3] ”
“ Akane's cooking again. And this time she's doing well! Ranma stopped breathing for a while after he tried it! Whups. Well, a few days later a fair comes to town. Good thing to take people's minds of things and to have a good time. Ranma and Akane go. While there, they check out an attraction that will let them see a real live Angel! But the 'Angel' is miserable as a captive, and when Ranma and Akane frees her, she is very grateful. The owner is less grateful though, and has a gun... The 'Angel' is Feather, a girl with wings, and someone about to form a large part of the lives of the Nerima gang.[4] ”
“ Ranma and Akane discover a young woman who, incredibly, possesses a pair of wings. They manage to break her out of captivity, but Ranma is wounded in the process. Ryouga aids them in getting Ranma to a hospital, then he tries to take Feather to the Tendo Dojo... promptly getting lost with the young woman on the way.[5] ”
